Key Responsibilities:
- Maintain overall safety and security within assigned premises and surrounding areas
- Conduct routine patrols in accordance with established security protocols
- Proactively identify and assess potential security threats or vulnerabilities
- Respond promptly and effectively to incidents, emergencies, or unusual activity
- Accurately complete incident reports and all required documentation in a timely manner
- Monitor and operate security systems, including alarms and surveillance cameras
- Provide assistance and support to employees, visitors, and guests as needed
- Liaise with law enforcement or emergency services during critical incidents or escalations
- Enforce site-specific policies and procedures to ensure a secure environment
Qualifications:
- Minimum age of 21 years
- High school diploma or GED required
- Must possess a valid security guard license (PERC Card) with expiration no earlier than 2027
- Ability to successfully pass a comprehensive background check
- Prior experience in security, law enforcement, or related field preferred
- Demonstrated ability to remain calm and make sound decisions under pressure
- Strong written and verbal communication skills
- Professional appearance, conduct, and customer service orientation
- Physically capable of standing, walking, bending, kneeling, and carrying items for extended periods
- Ability to perform tasks requiring sustained physical effort and endurance
- Familiarity with basic security procedures, protocols, and emergency response techniques
