The Job

• You must be at least 18 years old
• Compensation is $16-$18 per hour
• Must have Valid Drivers License
• Must have a reliable and insured vehicle
• Must be able to pass a Background Check
• Must be willing to work with a strong willed client

THE DUTIES

• Our staff assist participants with daily living in their homes as well as in the community
• Work as a team with other direct care staff in the home encouraging participants towards increased independence
• Meal planning and preparation, organizational skills, appointments and organizing a schedule
• As needed, transport the participant to their scheduled activities throughout the community
• Assist with taking and documenting medications
• Most Importantly get the client out in the community experiencing life and having fun! For example going to the movies, bowling, a day at the lake, Tubbs Hill, and anything else fun or exciting you can think of!
• Assisting with a behavioral client working on dietary needs and exercise. This client has BIG behaviors and says aggressive things, so you must be willing to help us help him by seeing the triggers but also knowing how to stop the behavior without being in fight mode. Can explain more in person.

COMPENSATION

• Overtime Available
• Premium Holiday Pay
• Sign on Bonus of $250 at 60 days and $250 at 90 days
