Storage Infrastructure Team Lead
We are looking for a dynamic and experienced leader to oversee our physical storage infrastructure. The ideal candidate will bring strong team management skills and a deep understanding of physical infrastructure, storage systems, and operational excellence. In this role, you will lead a team responsible for ensuring reliable hardware operations across various business units, with a focus on dedicated storage solutions.
Key Responsibilities:
- Lead and mentor a team focused on maintaining, optimizing, and supporting physical storage infrastructure.
- Oversee the lifecycle management of storage systems and hardware assets.
- Support and manage global, project-based infrastructure initiatives.
- Act as an escalation point for critical issues, ensuring swift resolution and minimal downtime.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams—including Unix/Linux and networking—to ensure seamless delivery of infrastructure services.
- Continuously improve operational support processes to meet performance, reliability, and client expectations.
- Foster team development through coaching and hands-on guidance in technical problem solving and system maintenance.
Required Qualifications:
- 7+ years of experience managing teams supporting physical storage infrastructure, including operations and incident management.
- Hands-on experience with storage technologies from IBM, Dell, and NetApp.
- Strong background in supporting Broadcom Brocade switches and directors.
- Familiarity with Linux/Unix environments and basic networking principles.
- In-depth knowledge of server hardware, configuration, and troubleshooting.
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to collaborate across technical and business teams.
- Strong organizational and project management capabilities.
Job Types: Full-time, Contract
Pay: $120,000.00 - $130,000.00 per year
