Tekberry is looking for a highly qualified and motivated Database Administrator II (DevOps)
to work hybrid with our client, a top-tier global automotive company. This is a full-time contract role with the possibility to extend or convert based on performance and business needs. As a Tekberry W2 employee, you will have access to health benefits including dental and vision.

Responsibilities:

• Maintain, upgrade, and administer Oracle EBS instances on Oracle Cloud Infrastructure using automation tools like Ansible and Jenkins.
• Optimize database performance to ensure high availability, reliability, and security.
• Perform backup, recovery, and disaster recovery planning using RMAN and related tools.
• Troubleshoot database issues collaborating with application and infrastructure teams.
• Use tools such as AWR, ADDM, and SQL Tuning Advisor to identify and resolve performance bottlenecks.
• Implement security policies, user access controls, encryption, and conduct regular audits.
• Configure and manage Oracle RAC, Data Guard, and GoldenGate for high availability and replication.
• Develop automation and monitoring scripts using Shell, PL/SQL, or Python.
• Collaborate with developers to optimize database schemas and queries.
• Document database architecture, configurations, and standard operating procedures.

Must-Have Qualifications:

• Bachelor s or Master s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field.
• 2 5 years of experience as an Oracle DBA in enterprise environments.
• Strong SQL, PL/SQL, and database performance tuning expertise.
• Experience with Oracle Enterprise Manager (OEM) and Unix/Linux shell scripting.
• Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills.
• Eligible to work in the U.S. (USC/Green Card preferred).
• Ability to work on-site 2 days per week in Atlanta.

Preferred Qualifications:

• Experience with automation tools such as Ansible or Terraform.
• Exposure to Python scripting and NoSQL or other RDBMS like PostgreSQL or MySQL.
• Oracle certifications (OCP/OCM) a plus.
