Position Details

• Location: Valencia, Pennsylvania
• Available Shifts (7 Days a Week):
• 7:00 a.m. – 2:30 p.m.
• 2:30 p.m. – 9:00 p.m.
• Transportation Requirement: Must have a reliable car for travel to and from the client’s residence.

We have immediate openings for both morning and afternoon/evening shifts, with options to fit your availability. Reliable transportation is essential to ensure consistent and punctual care.

Key Responsibilities

• Personal Care Assistance
• Help clients with bathing, grooming, dressing, and other hygiene-related tasks.
• Provide mobility support and assist with safe transfers when needed.
• Light Housekeeping & Meal Prep
• Maintain a tidy living environment by performing basic housekeeping duties such as washing dishes, vacuuming, or doing laundry.
• Prepare simple, nutritious meals or offer assistance with meal planning, adhering to any dietary guidelines.
• Medication Reminders
• Ensure clients follow their prescribed schedules (no direct administration of medication required).
• Companionship & Emotional Support
• Engage in friendly conversation, hobbies, or games that promote mental stimulation and emotional well-being.
• Offer a reassuring presence to help clients feel at ease.
• Monitoring & Reporting
• Observe any changes in the client’s condition or routine, and promptly communicate relevant updates to our care coordinators.
• Complete brief shift notes or other documentation as requested.

Ideal Candidate Profile

• Dependable & Punctual: Values consistency and understands the importance of arriving on time for each scheduled shift.
• Compassionate & Respectful: Demonstrates genuine empathy, patience, and courtesy toward clients and their families.
• Good Communication Skills: Can clearly follow instructions, document observations, and report concerns in a timely manner.
• Physically Capable: Able to assist with mobility and perform light housekeeping tasks without difficulty.
• Reliable Transportation: Possesses a valid driver’s license and a personal vehicle to travel to and from clients’ homes.
