Seeking a contract Sr Data Analyst/Engineer to essentially be a mini-Chief of Staff to the hiring manger to help her with a lot of things her CTO is asking her to do.

One of the core things is Dashboards so they can start looking at trends, looking at insights for their various business areas, looking at how they operate as a technology organization. What they can do to improve there, how they track their OKRs

Hands on keyboard to be able to develop but also have that strategy mindset to help her understand some of the trends, be able strategize with her and be able to act accordingly.

The other aspect of this is AI. They will be looking at AI from two perspectives: One, internally to their tech organization; how do they utilize it, how do they adopt it across all of their job families, whether it’s Product Analysts/Manager, software engineers, architects, etc. How they use it and how they actually measure the impact of it within their own teams. Are they getting efficiencies, doing faster sprints, and also how they support businesses in terms of AI. How can they understand things that are going on in the market, and how can I help Disney grow in terms of revenue and also find efficiencies within their cost basis.

The other area is continuous improvement. Looking at how they conduct themselves within the organization. Seeing what processes they can improve. She’s hoping that some of that goes hand in hand with some of the dashboarding and the AI.

The biggest problem that this person can come in and help with right now is building those insights, creating the dashboards, and helping them improve. The second thing would be focusing on AI when that’s up and running.

Main tool is Power BI. It’s ok if they don’t have Tableau, but is a plus.

On the AI front, they are in the process of making deals with Open AI, they use Co Pilot, and have a variety of developer tools, including their own custom developed AI tools within Corporate and within Disney Experiences, so the manager would be looking for the analyst to become familiar with all of those.

Must be a self-starter, someone who is going to grab the bull by the horns, and just jump right in, try things, etc.

Pay: $65.00 - $68.00 per hour
