Job Overview
We are seeking a motivated Junior Data Scientist with 1–3 years of hands-on experience in machine learning, Python, and data analytics. The ideal candidate can work comfortably with both traditional ML methods and GenAI tools to analyze unstructured content, especially contract documents. Strong communication skills and the ability to collaborate on domain-specific problems are essential.

Key Responsibilities

• Apply traditional machine learning techniques such as decision trees, random forests, and forecasting models.
• Utilize GenAI tools to extract insights and patterns from contract or unstructured documents.
• Work extensively with Python (Pandas, NumPy, etc.) for data cleaning, feature engineering, and model development.
• Write and optimize SQL queries (basic to intermediate level).
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams and clearly communicate insights in domain-specific language.
• Support ongoing data science initiatives and contribute to model improvements and experimentation.

Required Skills

• Strong proficiency in Python and Pandas.
• Working knowledge of SQL (basic querying is sufficient).
• GenAI / LLM experience (prompt engineering is a plus).
• Solid understanding of machine learning algorithms and applied statistics.
• Experience with forecasting models and core data science methodologies.
• Ability to interpret data patterns and communicate findings effectively.

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience with NLP, GenAI, or document-based analysis.
• Exposure to cloud environments (AWS/GCP/Azure) is a bonus.
• Familiarity with version control tools like Git.

Job Types: Contract, Temporary

Pay: $35.00 - $40.00 per hour

Expected hours: 40 per week
