Senior Global Supply Manager, IT Software

Summary:
This role is responsible for managing the IT Global Software category for an automotive technology company.

Responsibilities:

• Oversee all commercial aspects of new business awards and renewals, present contract award recommendations to senior leadership, negotiate software licensing cost & agreements, and build strong partnerships with both suppliers and internal stakeholders.
• Responsible for managing strategic suppliers by establishing and leading quarterly business reviews to ensure ongoing alignment, performance, and value delivery.
• Requires conducting spend analysis, collaborating with cross-functional teams to assess software performance, and ensuring suppliers meet Rivian and RVT's cost, quality, and timeline objectives.
• Successful candidate will own the end-to-end sourcing process, driving both operational excellence and strategic supplier engagement.
• Reports to the Manager of IT Software within the Indirect Procurement organization.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree required
• 8+ years of relevant Information Technology (IT) related software licensing experience
• 8+ years of experience performing strategic sourcing, cost analysis, negotiations and contract negotiations in a indirect procurement environment
• Previous ERP systems and purchase order processing experience – Coupa preferred
• Previous Contract Lifecycle Management (CLM) system experience – Ironclad preferred
• Proactive and solution-oriented, with the ability to thrive in a fast-paced, constantly evolving environment.
