Overview:

We’re looking for a motivated Junior DevOps Engineer to join our team on a part-time, long-term contract basis, with the potential to transition into a full-time role. This position is ideal for someone early in their DevOps career who has hands-on experience with AWS and Infrastructure as Code (IaC) using Terraform.

You'll support our DevOps team in automating, deploying, and managing cloud infrastructure, helping us scale and improve our environments. The initial workload is 20 hours per week, with the possibility of increasing to 40 hours as project needs grow.

Responsibilities:

• Assist in maintaining and improving CI/CD pipelines
• Support infrastructure provisioning in AWS using Terraform
• Collaborate with engineering teams to ensure smooth deployments
• Monitor and troubleshoot infrastructure and deployment issues
• Document configurations, processes, and best practices

Requirements:

• 1–2 years of hands-on DevOps or related experience
• Experience working with AWS Cloud Services
• Foundational understanding of Terraform and Infrastructure as Code (IaC) concepts
• Basic scripting knowledge (e.g., Python, Bash, PowerShell)
• Familiarity with CI/CD tools (e.g., GitHub Actions, Jenkins, GitLab CI/CD)
• Eagerness to learn, grow, and adapt in a fast-paced environment

Job Type: Contract

Pay: $40.00 - $50.00 per hour
