Job description

The Ranger Group, a leading provider of professional services to Medical Device Customers, is currently seeking a Sr. UX/UI Designer to support the design of next generation Augmented Reality Surgical Robotics Systems. This role is Fully Remote.

We're looking for a highly skilled UX/UI Designer with a strong background in creating design systems and designing native iOS applications. You’ll help shape the visual and interactive language of new products across platforms, contributing to a cohesive user experience.

What You’ll Do
  • Lead the creation of design systems for cross-platform products including Vision Pro, mobile, and web applications
  • Design intuitive, elegant native experiences for iOS and VisionOS
  • Translate complex workflows into clean, user-friendly interfaces
  • Collaborate closely with product managers, engineers, and other designers
  • Produce user flows, wireframes, prototypes, and high-fidelity visual designs
  • Contribute to component libraries in Figma and document best practices
  • Conduct and synthesize user research and usability testing
  • If applicable, explore and prototype experiences for AR interfaces (e.g., Vision Pro)
What We're Looking For
  • 5+ years of experience as a UX/UI designer, with a focus on native mobile applications (iOS)
  • Proven experience creating and maintaining design systems
  • Advanced skills in Figma (Auto Layout, component libraries, tokens, variants)
  • Strong understanding of Apple’s Human Interface Guidelines
  • Excellent visual design skills and attention to detail
  • Collaborative mindset and strong communication skills
  • Solid understanding of interaction design principles and user-centered design
  • Portfolio required – should include examples of iOS design work and systems thinking
  • Experience designing for Vision Pro or other AR/VR platforms is preferred but not required
  • Experience with 3D modeling and animation is preferred but not required
