About the Role

Help run a game-changing, AI-driven IoT platform at enterprise scale. As a Senior Infra/DB/Network Engineer, you’ll own production reliability, security, and scalability across AWS and Kubernetes—operating and tuning PostgreSQL and MongoDB (backup/restore incl. PITR, HA, performance, and scaling), and managing networking & L4/L7 (VPC/VPN, ALB/NLB, DNS/TLS, WAF/CDN). You’ll automate everything with IaC + CI/CD, standardize runbooks and incident response, and build end-to-end observability (metrics/logs/traces, SLOs/alerts, capacity). You’ll also drive cost optimization, DR/BCP (RTO/RPO), and compliance best practices, partnering with Backend/AI teams to keep multi-tenant, high-throughput IoT workloads fast, safe, and predictable.

Application Requirements

• Education: Bachelor’s degree or higher in Computer Science (or closely related field) is required.
• AWS certifications: Solutions Architect – Professional; ideally Security/Advanced Networking/Database (Specialty).
• Hands-on infrastructure assessment: Candidates must pass a third-party cloud architecture/operations lab (e.g., AWS/Kubernetes, networking, databases, security) as part of the screening process.

Required Skills

• Cloud: AWS—VPC, EC2/EKS, IAM, ELB, RDS/Aurora, S3, CloudWatch; strong cost/HA patterns.
• Containers & Orchestration: Kubernetes and Docker in production (upgrades, HPA/VPA/Cluster Autoscaler, Ingress/Service, rollout strategies).
• Databases: PostgreSQL & MongoDB—backup/restore (incl. PITR), replication/HA, performance tuning, scaling (partitioning/sharding), pooling (e.g., PgBouncer).
• Networking & L4/L7: Load balancers (ALB/NLB/NGINX), DNS, TLS, routing, VPNs, security groups/NACLs, WAF/CDN basics.
• Automation & IaC: Terraform (or equivalent), GitHub Actions (or similar), scripting (Python/Bash).
• Observability & Ops: Prometheus/Grafana (or CloudWatch), log pipelines (ELK/EFK/Loki), on-call/incident management.

Nice-to-Have

• Cloud: GCP/Azure/DigitalOcean; BigQuery/BigQuery ML exposure.
• Data & Streaming: Kafka/PubSub/Kinesis; time-series stores; batch/stream pipelines (Airflow/dbt/Flink/Spark).
• IoT & Protocols: MQTT brokers/bridges, certificate-based auth, edge connectivity.
• Security/Compliance: Vault/Secrets Manager, audit logging, SIEM, CIS benchmarks, SOC2/ISO27001 practices.
• GitOps & Advanced K8s: Argo CD/Flux, service mesh, canary/blue-green, HPA custom metrics.
• SRE Practices: SLO/SLI design, chaos testing, capacity modeling, multi-region DR.

Experience Guideline

• 5+ years operating cloud infrastructure and Kubernetes in production, including networking, load balancing, security hardening, and IaC.
• 5+ years administering PostgreSQL and MongoDB in production with proven backup/restore, HA, and performance/scaling outcomes.
