EXPERIENCED Marine Service Technician
Full Service Marine Service Center and Marina in Surfside Beach, TX has an IMMEDIATE full time position available for an Experienced Marine Service Technician. NON-EXPERIENCED NEED NOT TO APPLY!
Qualifications:
Mercury Marine Technician
Yamaha Marine Technician
Valid and current driver’s license
Unlimited or unimpaired ability to walk, bend, stoop, climb, and work safely around water, on a ladder, or in a confined space
Ability to lift up to 50 lbs
Timely, accurate, & quality workmanship
Professional & courteous team player
Responsibilities
- Examine and diagnose problems with boats and motors
- Discuss repairs with service advisor
- Communicate additional service requests to the service advisor
- Plan work procedures in cooperation with the service manager
- Provide labor time estimates to the service advisor
- Monitor repair time and update service advisor regularly
- Complete story and/or documentation for client repairs
- Attend company and factory training
- Understand and follow federal, state and local regulations (such as disposal of hazardous waste)
Education and/or Experience
Company provides training for all Certifications required
Compensation based on experience
