Job Overview
We are seeking a highly skilled Applied AI Engineer specializing in open-source models to join our innovative team. This role involves developing, training, and deploying advanced AI solutions utilizing open-source frameworks and tools. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in machine learning, data engineering, and natural language processing, with experience working on large-scale data systems and cloud platforms such as AWS. This position offers an exciting opportunity to contribute to cutting-edge AI projects that leverage big data, quantum engineering, and analytics to solve complex problems across various domains.
This is an in-person job with Monday-Friday 10am-6pm based in our Lynnwood office.
Duties
- Design, develop, and optimize machine learning models using frameworks like TensorFlow and other machine learning tools.
- Implement unsupervised learning algorithms and natural language processing techniques for diverse AI applications.
- Conduct data mining, ETL processes, and database design to prepare datasets for model training and analysis.
- Deploy models into production environments utilizing cloud services such as AWS and containerization techniques.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to integrate AI solutions with existing systems using Java, Python, R, SAS, and Bash (Unix shell).
- Develop scalable big data solutions leveraging Hadoop, Spark, Talend, and Looker for analytics and visualization.
- Perform model training, evaluation, and fine-tuning to improve accuracy and efficiency.
- Engage in research on quantum engineering principles to explore innovative AI methodologies.
- Maintain documentation of models, workflows, and system architecture for ongoing development and compliance purposes.
Skills
- Proficiency in machine learning frameworks such as TensorFlow, Spark MLlib, and related tools.
- Strong programming skills in Python, Java, R, C, VBA, Bash (Unix shell).
- Experience with cloud platforms like AWS for model deployment and data storage solutions.
- Expertise in natural language processing (NLP), data mining, big data technologies (Hadoop), and ETL processes.
- Knowledge of database design principles and SQL for managing large datasets.
- Familiarity with analytics tools such as Looker for data visualization and reporting.
- Understanding of unsupervised learning techniques and their applications in open-source environments.
- Experience with model training workflows including hyperparameter tuning and validation strategies.
- Knowledge of quantum engineering concepts relevant to advanced AI research is a plus.
- Ability to work effectively within a team on complex projects involving data science, software engineering, and AI development. Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $80,000.00 - $90,000.00 per year
