Our Data Visualization Specialist helps define, design, analyze, validate and build analytical models.
Responsibilities

Develop Geospatial visualizations to provide insights to business analysts and domain subject-matter experts

Perform exploratory data analysis to define analytical models.

Design and implement complex, reproducible machine learning and data science workflows using R and Python.

Build, test, validate and demonstrate analytical models through various relevant error metrics and calibration techniques.

Design complex, reproducible ML workflows.

Perform multiple forms of advanced analyses, sustainment, optimization, text analytics, machine learning, parametric and non-parametric statistical models and techniques.

Building and maintaining data pipelines for data ingestion to disparate datasets into a modeling platform.

Provide expertise for analytical, programmatic, strategic, and operational analysis.

Explain analytics model behavior/results in the vernacular of business.

Provide recommendations for plans, programs, strategies, policies and budgets.

Stays abreast of external trends and new functionality to be released by third party/cloud solutions, identifying and socializing opportunities for expanded business applicability

Ensures application solution conforms to quality attributes such as performance, fault tolerance, etc.

Supports implementation of Technology Roadmap and related backlog prioritization, planning, and execution to manage architectural uncertainties

Participates in sizing and estimation activities with the agile team
Education and experience
-
5+ years technical working or other relevant industry experience

Bachelor’s degree in Statistics/Technology/Science/Engineering or other relevant experience

Hands-on experience with creating analytic workflows in R and Python

Experience with PostGreSQL/PostGIS and/or Aurora
-
Strong analytical abilities

Detail oriented with experience gathering requirements

Expert in Agile development/methodologies, Test Automation and TDD, CI/CD, Devops

Excellent oral and written communication skills
