Position Overview
We are seeking an experienced IT Operations Manager to lead enterprise technology operations and infrastructure within a long-established, highly structured organization with more than 30 years of operational history.
This role is designed for an operations-focused IT leader—someone who excels at ensuring service reliability, operational discipline, and predictable execution across IT teams. The emphasis is on governance, service delivery, process maturity, and people leadership, not hands-on engineering or day-to-day technical troubleshooting.
Success in this role comes from setting direction, managing priorities, enforcing standards, and leading teams, while partnering with technical staff who execute the work.

Leadership & Team Management
- Provide clear leadership, expectations, and accountability for cross-functional IT teams
- Develop and retain high-performing staff through coaching, performance management, and workload prioritization
- Promote collaboration between infrastructure, application support, and field services teams
Governance, Risk & Controls
- Ensure adherence to IT General Controls (ITGCs), security policies, audit requirements, and internal standards
- Maintain audit-ready environments through consistent processes and documentation
Vendor, Budget & Planning
- Manage vendor relationships, service providers, and support contracts
- Contribute to budgeting, forecasting, and cost management efforts
- Evaluate technology solutions that improve operational effectiveness and long-term sustainability
Strategy & Continuous Improvement
- Support IT leadership with roadmap execution and operational planning
- Identify inefficiencies and lead initiatives that improve service quality, scalability, and operational maturity
- Balance daily operational needs with longer-term improvement initiatives
