DCI Job Requirement for:

DevOps Engineer

Location: McLean, VA

Job Description:

Serve as a DevOps Engineer supporting a government customer

Manage customer’s application infrastructure in support of mission

Ensure the smooth operation of all systems within the virtual environment

• Optimize performance and scalability

Manage and maintain application servers, networks and infrastructure

Deploy, configure, and troubleshoot application hosting services

Monitor system performance and audits to ensure data integrity and protection

Collaborate with internal teams to identify requirements and implement solutions

Provide technical support and guidance to end-users

Implement best practices for backup, disaster recovery, and system redundancy

Qualifications:

Active TS/SCI with a Full-Scope Polygraph

BS in Computer Engineering or related

16+ years of relevant experience

Experience with Infrastructure as a code and languages

• Ansible, Chef, Puppet, etc.

Experience with Linux System Administration and containerization tools

Ability to use source Control tools (Git, Subversion)

Experience in Cloud based services (AWS, Azure)

Experience in security review of applications and infrastructure

Experience with the following is preferred:

• Infrastructure automation technologies like Cisco NSO
• Building automation technologies like Maven, Jenkins, etc.
• Building APIs and services using REST, SOAP, etc.
• Scripting languages like Perl, Shell, Bash etc.

Required: Active TS/SCI w/ FSP
