• Lead the development and implementation of our hybrid infrastructure strategy, including containerization, integration between cloud and on-premises systems
• Develop and maintain security standards for cloud infrastructure and applications
• Collaborate with stakeholders to define key performance indicators (KPIs) and metrics to measure the effectiveness of DevOps initiatives.
• Evaluate and recommend new tools, technologies, and processes to improve efficiency, productivity, and reliability.
• Collaborates with security and compliance teams to ensure the protection and integrity of systems and data
• Provide technical leadership and mentoring to development and operations teams
• Lead disaster recovery planning and implementation for cloud-based systems
• Conducts regular vendor communication to build relationships, monitor vendor performance and understand vendor roadmaps
• Maintain DevOps and cloud roadmaps
• Support long range planning and budgeting activities
• Perform vendor and product selection in a collaborative manner
• Administer technology pilots & proof of concept Initiatives
• Conduct cost-benefit analyses for potential technology investments
• Prepare infrastructure funding requests
• Optimize cloud resource utilization and manage cloud cost

Experience and Education:

• 5 years of experience in an IT infrastructure architecture or similar role
• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or a related field preferred
• Communicate complex technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders
• Ability to mentor and guide technical teams
• Experience implementing DevOps practices in both traditional IT and cloud environments
• Experience with Infrastructure as Code and automation tools
• Experience with hybrid cloud architectures and cross-platform integration
• Experience with monitoring and logging tools
• Strong leadership, communication, and problem-solving skills
• Relevant cloud certifications (e.g. Azure Solutions Architect)
• Strong scripting and automation skills
• Experience with containerization
