About Us

We’re a remote tech startup working in payments. Our product, WalletPay, is a modern payments platform designed to simplify transactions and improve digital payment experiences for businesses, contractors, freelancers, and more.

The Role

We’re looking for a UX/UI Designer who’s excited to shape user experiences across both web and mobile. You’ll play a key role in designing WalletPay’s customer-facing app and internal tools, collaborating closely with engineering and product teams. This role combines strong visual design with thoughtful UX, giving you full ownership of interface design, user flows, and product consistency.

Responsibilities

• Design clean, intuitive interfaces for both mobile (Flutter) and web platforms.
• Create wireframes, mockups, prototypes, and high-fidelity visuals.
• Collaborate with engineers to ensure design accuracy in implementation.
• Develop and maintain a scalable design system and style guide.
• Conduct user research and usability testing to inform design decisions.
• Translate product goals and user needs into practical, elegant design solutions.
• Own the full user experience from onboarding to everyday use.

Requirements

• 3–5+ years of UX/UI design experience with a strong portfolio across web and mobile.
• Proficiency in tools like Figma, Sketch, or Adobe XD.
• Solid understanding of responsive design and mobile-first best practices.
• Experience working with or designing for component-based UI frameworks.
• Strong communication skills and ability to work independently in a remote team.
• A user-first mindset with attention to detail and usability.

Bonus Points

• Experience in payments, fintech, or POS-related platforms.
• Familiarity with Flutter and how designs translate to code.
• Experience with motion/interaction design or design handoff tools.
• Background in branding, illustration, or marketing visuals.

Important Information

• This is currently an equity-only position (no salary) as we are actively raising capital.
• Opportunity for future compensation as funding is achieved.

Job Types: Full-time, Part-time

Pay: From $3,800.00 per month
