GENERAL SUMMARY OF DUTIES:
The IT Manager oversees the organization’s IT operations, ensuring secure and efficient systems to meet business goals. This role involves strategic planning, team leadership, and managing the IT budget, with a focus on optimizing the company’s ERP system, Plex.
REPORTS TO: Director of Finance
SUPERVISION GIVEN: Yes
PHYSICAL DEMANDS:
Requires the use of office equipment, such as computer terminals and keyboards, telephones, and copiers. Requires normal vision, hearing, and speech range. Prolonged sitting. Some local travel to sister companies required.
TYPICAL WORKING CONDITIONS:
Office environment with frequent needs to be on the production plant floor. Ability to sit for extended periods of time. Occasional after-hours support for IT issues might be required.
DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Develop and execute IT strategies aligned with business objectives.
- Lead and mentor a team of IT professionals.
- Manager IT systems, networks, and infrastructure for security and performance.
- Track and manager IT budget, ensuring cost-effective resource use.
- Monitor spending, prepare budget reports, and forecast financial needs.
- Manage and oversee the efficiency of the company’s ERP system, ensuring optimal performance and integration.
- Collaborate with departments to address technology requirements.
- Ensure compliance with data protection and cybersecurity standards.
- Integrate new technologies to enhance efficiency.
- Negotiate vendor contracts for IT services and equipment.
EDUCATION/ EXPERIENCE:
Bachelor’s degree in IT, Computer Science, or related field, or 7-10 years of equivalent experience. 5+ years in IT Management. Experience in budget tracking and financial oversight in IT. Strong background with Plex ERP systems required. Proven experience in managing ERP systems. Strong knowledge of IT systems, cybersecurity, and networks. Proven leadership and problem-solving skills. Effective communication with technical and non-technical stakeholders. Familiarity with project management such as Agile or PMP a plus.

Pay: Up to $120,000.00 per year
