Full-Time - Contract - React Developer (MS Fabric and Azure)

3-6 month assignment (could lead to perm)

About the Role

We are building a custom internal business intelligence platform for a 12-store specialty grocery chain. You will work directly with leadership to build React-based web applications that embed Power BI reports and connect to Microsoft Fabric databases. This is a hands-on role with clear direction and specifications provided. We are a Microsoft-first organization.

Responsibilities

• Build and maintain React/Next.js web applications

• Embed Power BI reports within custom web interfaces

• Connect front-end applications to Microsoft Fabric Lakehouse/SQL endpoints

• Deploy applications using Azure App Services

• Implement authentication via Microsoft Entra ID

• Build custom interactive components (drag-and-drop, data entry forms)

Required Qualifications

• 3+ years of React/Next.js development

• Hands-on experience with Microsoft Fabric (Lakehouse, SQL Analytics Endpoint)

• Experience deploying to Azure App Services

• Strong JavaScript/TypeScript skills

• Comfortable taking direction and working within specifications

• Must work on-site in Melville, NY five days per week

Preferred Qualifications

• Power BI Embedded experience

• Data modeling experience (star schema, dimensional modeling)

• Microsoft Power Platform (Power Apps, Power Pages)

• SQL Server experience

• Retail or grocery industry experience

Job Type: Temporary

Pay: $65.00 - $85.00 per hour

Expected hours: 40 per week
