MPIRE Technology Group, Inc is seeking an experienced SAP Developer for our client in Arlington, VA. The candidate will be responsible for developing strategies for technical IT infrastructures and the completion of assigned engineering projects within budgetary and scheduling guidelines.

Responsibilities:

• Leads a group of engineers, analysts, and/or technicians assigned for the duration of a project or may function as ongoing lead within a group of engineers associated with one or more technical areas within the telecom function (such as, but not limited to, network design, engineering, implementation, or operations/user support).
• Perform functional analysis, requirements, definition and SAP module configuration and testing.
• Develop functional requirements specifications, data mappings, function mapping, setting of configuration tables and setting of transaction/control tables.
• Coordinate projects across different organizations understanding of the business processes and flows to enable the analysis of business requirements and the development of solutions for the business functions.
• Does not have formal supervisory responsibilities, although may provide input to performance appraisals.
• Able to perform all functional duties independently.
• Effectively communicates technical information to non-technical audiences.

Requirements:

• (10) years experience in software development, database administration, and/or related field;
• Extensive knowledge of and experience with designing, implementing, operating and administering relational DBMSs;
• Experience with more than one DBMS product (e.g. Oracle, SQL Server);
• Experience with DBMS Job Control Language (JCL), access methods, performance tuning, device allocation, validation checks, organization, security, documentation and statistical methods;
• Experience recommending the most appropriate DBMS product after evaluating a set of system requirements;
• Strong knowledge in SAP HCM HR modules including OM/PA, eCareer, EHS ect.
• Knowledge in:
• SAP PO
• S/4 HANA
• HR Security
• Fiori Architect
• Design Architecture Experience - LaunchPad Design, design control based solutions
• Familiarity with Agile/Scrum processes and management tools such as VersionOne.
• Knowledge of and experience in an IT Service management System (preferably ServiceNow)
• Experience producing database-related documentation such as administration policies, procedures, standards and guidelines;
• Experience training/mentoring less experienced personnel;
• Able to obtain Postal clearance;
• Excellent communication skills.

Experience: Senior-Level (10+ years)

Education: Degree in computer science or related field
