Position Overview

We are seeking a qualified and driven Network Engineer to join our IT team. This role is responsible for developing, implementing, and maintaining the company’s network infrastructure to ensure reliability, security, and optimal performance.

Key Responsibilities

• Establish and maintain network performance and availability
• Troubleshoot network and application performance issues
• Install, configure, and support Cisco routing and switching
• Collaborate with Network Architects on network design and optimization
• Secure network systems by defining, enforcing, and monitoring access policies
• Ensure network operations align with organizational and information systems goals
• Complete related duties as required to support IT and business objectives

Required Skills & Qualifications

• Network design and implementation experience
• Network administration and troubleshooting expertise
• Strong knowledge of LAN technologies
• Experience configuring network hardware
• Network performance tuning and optimization
• Strong problem-solving and analytical skills
• Excellent documentation skills

Preferred Qualifications

• CCNA certification
• CCNP certification

Job Type: Contract

Pay: $80,000.00 - $130,000.00 per year

• Cisco Network Engineering: 5 years (Preferred)

Ability to Relocate:

• Carson City, NV 89701: Relocate before starting work (Preferred)
