Brinker Design is a full-service marketing and graphic design agency located in Cincinnati, OH. We provide small to medium sized businesses with the support of an experienced marketing and creative team for a fraction of the cost of a single employee. This includes execution across a wide variety of mediums/channels, both print and digital. Our goal is to partner with our clients and go beyond simple project deliverables to advise on maximizing customer growth and ROI.

ROLE:

Brinker Design is looking for a passionate web designer with a wide variety of experience, an eye for design and enjoys being part of a small, but mighty team. We’re looking for someone who thinks like we do: Creative. Flexible. Inquisitive. and Entrepreneurial.

The role of Web Designer will work hand-in-hand with the owner/creative director across a wide variety of web projects such as strategy, UX/UI, design, development, customizations, maintenance & troubleshooting. You will have the ability to think creatively and independently, with close, personal mentorship. You will be responsible for managing and executing strict project timelines for multiple projects at a time. Though the primarily responsibility for this position is focused on web design, there is also the opportunity for additional digital and print work (as fitting per your skillset).

RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Website design and development from concept through final launch.
• Optimize website performance (load time, mobile responsiveness, accessibility).
• Stay up to date with web design trends, plugins, and industry best practices.
• Maintain strict timelines and budgets.
• Clear and responsive communication.
• Maintain websites, perform routine updates, and troubleshoot issues as needed.
• Ability to set up hosting and handle website migrations as needed.
• Ability to think strategically for client’s needs.
• Maintain a positive attitude and work collaboratively with others.

REQUIREMENTS:

• Link to work samples
• 1–3 years of professional experience in web design/development with a strong focus on WordPress.
• Proficient in HTML, CSS, and basic knowledge of JavaScript/jQuery.
• Experience customizing WordPress themes and working with page builders (e.g., Elementor, WPBakery, Divi).
• Strong understanding of UX/UI principles and responsive design.
• Familiarity with basic SEO principles.
• A strong eye for design and familiarity with Adobe Creative Suite to edit images and graphic content for sites.
• Strong communication, both visually and verbally
• Highly organized and self-motivated, with excellent interpersonal skills.
• Ability to manage multiple projects and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment.

JOB TYPE:
Contract to hire. Up to 30-days as freelance (full-time) before being offered a position to ensure a good fit.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $45,000.00 - $60,000.00 per year
