JOB SUMMARY:

The IT Manager is responsible for overseeing the organization’s technology infrastructure, ensuring systems are secure, reliable, and aligned with business goals. This role manages IT operations, leads technical staff, supports end users, and drives strategic technology initiatives.

ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS:

· Manage and maintain network infrastructure, servers, cloud environments, and business applications

· Ensure high system availability, performance, and data integrity

· Oversee system upgrades, patches, and hardware/software installations

· Develop and maintain disaster recovery and business continuity plans

· Implement and enforce cybersecurity policies and best practices

· Monitor systems for vulnerabilities and respond to security incidents

· Ensure compliance with relevant regulations and industry standards

· Manage relationships with IT vendors and service providers

· Negotiate contracts and manage technology budgets

· Lead IT projects including system implementations, migrations, and upgrades

· Align IT strategy with organizational goals

· Recommend technology investments to improve efficiency and scalability

· Evaluate emerging technologies for business impact

· Ensure effective technical support for employees

· Develop IT policies, documentation, and training materials

· Supervise and mentor IT staff and support personnel

· Manage workload distribution and performance evaluations

· Provide technical guidance and professional development opportunities

• Managing inventory of IT equipment (hardware, software, licenses)
• Conducting regular risk assessments and presenting reports

EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE:

• Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or related field (or equivalent experience)
• 5+ years of progressive IT experience, including leadership responsibilities
• Strong knowledge of networking, servers, cybersecurity, and cloud platforms
• Experience with Microsoft 365, enterprise systems, and IT service management tools
• Excellent problem-solving, communication, and leadership skills
• Preferred: knowledge and experience with scripting and automation tools.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $80,000.00 - $100,000.00 per year
