Description:

iPower is seeking a full-time Operations Security Analyst to support an upcoming government contract. This position is contingent upon contract award and funding. Work will be performed onsite.

The Operations Security Analyst applies knowledge of Operations Security (OPSEC) to develop, implement, and maintain the OPSEC Program to protect sensitive unclassified information, activities, equipment and material used or developed by the U.S. Government and industry. Develop OPSEC Surveys and Assessment Plans, as well as conduct and produce findings of surveys and assessments. Provide support for U.S. Government hosted foreign national visitors. Develop, participate in, and /or provide OPSEC training and awareness.

Key responsibilities:

• Serve as the on-site security coordinator and as the day-to-day security expert for the IPTs. Prepare and maintain security duty roster, courier requests and safe inventory master notebook. Verify personnel security clearances using DISS.
• Process classified and unclassified materials in accordance with DoD policy SECNAV M-5510.36A, Information Security Program. Maintain security containers and schedule burn bag runs. Check classified media in and out and maintain log.
• Provide support in reporting and investigating security violations from identification through completion.
• Process visit requests for IPT personnel and visitors using the BASICS II. Provide visitor control for IPT spaces and maintain building personnel access list.
• Prepare, develop, update and maintain Security Classification Guidelines (SCG) and DD-254s.
• Monitor distribution statements on documentation.
• Maintain access to SIPRnet rooms for IPT personnel.
• Provide support in the coordination of Foreign Travel Briefs and maintaining Foreign Travel Brief logs.
• Provide support in the preparation of SOW for appropriate security language to include OPSEC and PP.
• Provide support with Security Education and Training Awareness.
• Provide support in analyzing export license security protocols and respond to inquiries.

Required Qualifications:

• BA/BS degree (Allowable substitution: Associate’s Degree plus an additional two (2) years of relevant work experience OR four (4) years of relevant additional work experience)
• Active Secret Clearance
• 3 to 10 years of relevant experience
