• Administration of both Windows and Linux servers
• Monitoring systems; responding to and ensuring resolution of operational issues
• Expanding our current architecture to add features to improve current products
• Participating in design and creation of new products to drive business growth
• Maintaining and deploying highly available virtual server environments
• Assisting with installations, upgrades, and patches to ensure proper system operation
• Resolving VPN issues

Requirements

• Experience working with SAN/NAS systems
• Working knowledge of Microsoft Windows Server and Linux operating systems
• Functional knowledge of AWS services
• Strong enterprise level networking experience
• Proven experience with enterprise network and system security
• Scripting experience with at least one of the following: PowerShell, Bash, Perl, Ruby, Python
• Virtualization using VMware ESXi or Hyper-V
• Experience with Microsoft Active Directory in a multi-site setup
• System monitoring and reporting tools (Nagios preferred)
• Outstanding organizational and problem-solving skills
• Proven work ethic, tenacity, and focus
• Ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment
• Driven, self-motivated, with a desire to succeed
• Proven ability to resolve issues as a team
• Willingness to learn

Preferred Qualifications

• Security+ certification
• Network+ and/or CCNA certification
• Experience with automation (Chef, Puppet, Ansible)
• Experience with web server administration (IIS and Apache)
• Experience with load balancing systems
• Experience with RDP environments
• Database administration experience
• Experience with containers and container orchestration systems
