Term: 12-month contract with possible extensions or permanency based on performance

Shift: MON – FRI / 8:00AM to 5:00PM

Job Description:

Seeking a Principal Solution Architect – Cloud & AI Initiatives to design secure, scalable, and modern applications with a strong emphasis on AI and GenAI-enabling technologies. This senior individual contributor role sits within the Architecture organization and will focus on hands-on design, prototyping, and solution delivery. You will partner closely with architects, product teams, and engineers to bring innovative ideas into production, experimenting and implementing cutting-edge AI/ML/GenAI solutions.

Key Responsibilities:

· Collaborate with domain and enterprise architects to translate strategy into application/system designs

· Design scalable, cloud-native applications and services using modern architecture patterns

· Lead solution evaluations, prototypes, and proofs of concept for AI/GenAI initiatives

· Make architectural trade-offs considering performance, cost, and maintainability

· Contribute reusable patterns and documentation to support teams

· Partner with engineering teams to ensure high-quality delivery

· Apply secure-by-design and DevSecOps principles across solutions

· Stay ahead of trends in cloud, AI/ML services, and GenAI tooling

Required Qualifications:

· 10+ years of software engineering and architecture experience

· 5+ years with modern architecture and tools (cloud-native, APIs, microservices)

· 2–3+ years of hands-on GenAI experience (LLMs, vector databases, prompt orchestration, LangChain, Bedrock)

· Hands-on experience building/integrating AI/ML/GenAI services or platforms

· Proficiency in one or more languages (Python, Java, or C#)

· Strong communication skills to articulate technical solutions and trade-offs

· Familiarity with AWS AI/ML services (SageMaker, Bedrock, Comprehend, Lex)

Preferred Qualifications:

· AWS Solutions Architect certification

· Experience with architectural evaluations/vendor assessments

· Financial Services industry background

• Round 1: MS Teams – 30 minutes with Hiring Manager
• Round 2: Onsite – 45 minutes System Design
• Round 3: Onsite – 45 minutes Technical Depth
• Round 4: Onsite – 45 minutes Panel Interview
