PURPOSE/SCOPE:

Inventory Control Supervisor monitors and maintains the integrity of warehouse inventory and storage locations through analysis, reporting, and item/material master audit/input. This would include missing inventory resolution real time, corrective action to inventory variance, and reviewing historic transactions. The intended outcome is having the right parts in the right location at the right time to satisfy customer demand and financial (SOX) compliance.

GENERAL RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Traveling job, being on the road for 70+% of the time
• Maintain accuracy of item and material master
• Supervise receiving process, report all deliveries discrepancies
• Supervise kitting process and shipment preparation according to the standards
• Prepare the reports and share the data with management / customer
• Attend calls and meetings as required
• Manage and complete cycle count process
• Assist to reconcile inventory differences and root cause reason
• Identify irregularities in daily operational processes that create inventory issues
• Assist with process audits
• Continuous improvement/5S
• Supervise inventory associates
• Maintain safety work environment
• Other duties as determined by supervisor/management team

REQUIRED EXPERIENCE & EDUCATION:

• High School Diploma OR GED required; some college preferred
• 3 year Warehouse Lead / Inventory Control experience preferred
• Experience with Lean Manufacturing initiatives preferred
• Proficiency in using Microsoft Excel
• Forklift Certification

PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS:

• Ability to lift up to 40 pounds

Job Types: Full-time, Contract

Pay: $55,000.00 - $60,000.00 per year
