We're seeking a Network Administrator to help us scale and secure our infrastructure as we grow.
Position Overview
As a Network Administrator, you will be responsible for the design, implementation, and maintenance of our network and server infrastructure. You’ll work closely with development, DevOps, and security teams to ensure our systems are secure, redundant, scalable, and optimized for performance.
Key ResponsibilitiesCore Infrastructure Management
Administer and maintain Windows Server environments, including Active Directory, DNS, DHCP, and Group Policy.
Manage Hyper-V virtualized infrastructure and ensure optimal performance.
Oversee SQL Server installations, configurations, and performance tuning.
Network Operations
Design, implement, and maintain LAN/WAN infrastructure, including routers, switches, and firewalls.
Monitor and troubleshoot network performance using tools like Datadog and perform packet inspection.
Configure and manage VPN solutions (e.g., OpenVPN) for secure remote access.
Cloud & Hybrid Infrastructure
Manage Azure resources and support hybrid cloud environments.
Assist with cloud migrations and ensure seamless integration with on-prem systems.
Security & Compliance
Administer endpoint protection and network security tools (e.g., Sophos, Suricata).
Use tools like Qualys for vulnerability management and remediation.
Implement and monitor MFA, SSO, and conditional access policies.
Support compliance efforts (e.g., SOC 2, ISO 27001) and assist with audits.
Automation & Optimization
Automate routine tasks using PowerShell or other scripting tools.
Continuously monitor and optimize network and server performance.
Microsoft 365 Administration
Manage Microsoft 365, with a focus on Exchange Online, security, and compliance features.
Collaboration & Support
Work closely with DevOps and development teams to support CI/CD pipelines and development environments.
Provide Tier 2/3 support for escalated infrastructure issues.
Train staff on security best practices and new tools.
Documentation & Asset Management
Maintain accurate documentation of systems, configurations, and procedures.
Track hardware/software assets and ensure license compliance.
Disaster Recovery & Incident Response
Develop and test disaster recovery and business continuity plans.
Participate in incident response and conduct root cause analysis.
Qualifications
3+ years of experience in network/system administration in a Windows-based environment.
Strong knowledge of Windows Server, Hyper-V, SQL Server, and LAN/WAN infrastructure.
Experience with network monitoring, packet inspection, and performance tuning.
Proficiency with Microsoft 365, Exchange Online, and security/compliance features.
Hands-on experience with VPNs, firewalls, and router configuration.
Familiarity with security tools like Sophos, Qualys, or similar.
Strong scripting skills (e.g., PowerShell).
Excellent problem-solving, documentation, and communication skills.
Preferred Qualifications
Microsoft certifications (e.g., MCSA, MCSE, Azure Administrator Associate)
Experience supporting .NET development environments
Familiarity with Azure and hybrid cloud infrastructure
Additional Requirements
Must be legally authorized to work in the U.S.
Must pass background, criminal, and drug screenings
.May require travel (domestic and international), lifting up to 50 lbs, and extended computer use.

Pay: $75,000.00 - $80,000.00 per year
