1Link Technology has an immediate need for a DIRECT-HIRE (not contract) Sr. SQL Server Database Administrator for a PERMANENT position in Memphis, TN. In this role, the DBA will install, configure, administer, optimize, backup, maintain, and document a high availability, SQL Server enterprise cluster.

Qualifications:

• Minimum 5 years of experience in the design, installation, configuration, administration, and support of SQL Server databases (2019/2014/2012/2008R2) in a high-availability production environment.
• Experience and understanding of SQL Server clustering, Availability Group, partitioning and mirroring
• Experience implementing data security and hardening (groups, roles, privileges, authentication, TDE and auditing)
• Experience deploying database change scripts provided by 3rd party vendors and executing SQL queries, stored procedures and other database objects using T-SQL.
• Experience managing and testing backup and recovery plans, ensuring that storage, archiving, backup and recovery procedures are functioning correctly.
• Experience in performance tuning (stored procedures, indexes, etc.).
