The Position: We are looking for an experienced and passionate web developer to join our team! As a web developer, you will be responsible for both back-end and front-end development for 910 Media Group sites and client websites.


This position requires good time management and the ability to work on multiple projects at one time. You must have experience with JavaScript and WordPress and should be comfortable troubleshooting issues and working on solutions with your team and clients.


Key Responsibilities:

  • Full Stack JavaScript—React Library and WordPress Web Developer
  • Develop and deploy websites
  • Maintain existing websites
  • Diagnose issues and fix problems with existing websites and web applications
  • Collaborate with the deign team to help reach the best outcome for a project
  • Communicate with project managers to create realistic timelines and communicate any roadblocks you are experiencing


Qualifications:

  • 3+ years' experience developing websites with PHP, MySQL, HTML, CSS, and JavaScript
  • Experience with SASS or other CSS preprocessors
  • Understanding of version control (GIT)
  • Accessibility (ADA & WCAG Compliance) knowledge
  • Experience with third-party APIs (REST, GraphQL)
  • Ability to build a custom WordPress theme from a design comp (Photoshop, Sketch)
  • Strong communication and collaboration skills
  • Experience with the Wordpress Block Editor
  • Experience with WooCommerce preferred
  • React or other JS library/framework
  • C# experience is a plus
  • NoSQL/MongoDB experience also a plus
  • Must have a positive attitude
