Job description
South Bend Chocolate Company is looking for a Accounts Payable Assistant (APA) that is self-motivated and has an excellent work ethic. APA will be responsible for answering phone calls, payroll submission, ensuring required documents are distributed and/or posted, assisting with benefit audits, processing accounts payable invoices and ensure accurate coding and timely payment, Review and reconcile vendor statements, monitoring customer accounts for payment status and follow up on overdue payments, ensure compliance with company policies and procedures.
Successful candidates will have:
- Strong attendance and punctuality
- Strong computer skills
- Strong critical thinking and attention to detail
- Experience with Paychex payroll system
- Microsoft Office experience
Experience in HR and ability to work in a small energetic office setting is required. Candidate must be self-sufficient a. A "hit-the-ground-running" work ethic is required. Prioritizing and organization is a must.
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $14.00 - $16.00 per hour
