Overview
We are seeking a skilled and motivated DevOps Engineer to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will play a crucial role in enhancing our development and operational processes, focusing on automation, continuous integration, and deployment. You will work closely with software developers, system operators, and other IT staff to manage code releases and ensure the reliability of our infrastructure.
Duties
- Collaborate with development teams to gather requirements and understand application architecture.
- Design, implement, and manage CI/CD pipelines for seamless software deployment.
- Monitor system performance and troubleshoot issues in production environments.
- Utilize AWS services to build scalable cloud infrastructure.
- Manage container orchestration using Kubernetes for efficient application deployment.
- Maintain Linux-based systems and ensure their security and performance.
- Develop RESTful APIs to facilitate communication between different services.
- Participate in the configuration and management of OpenStack environments.
- Implement Active Directory for user management and authentication processes.
- Document processes, configurations, and best practices for future reference.
Requirements
- Proficiency in AWS cloud services and architecture.
- Strong experience with Linux operating systems.
- Familiarity with containerization technologies like Kubernetes.
- Knowledge of programming languages such as C or similar languages.
- Experience with CI/CD tools and methodologies.
- Understanding of RESTful API design principles.
- Ability to gather requirements effectively from stakeholders.
- Experience in software deployment processes in a DevOps environment.
- Familiarity with OpenStack is a plus.
- Knowledge of Active Directory management is desirable.
