Overview
We are seeking a skilled Gainsight Admin to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will possess a strong background in IT infrastructure, system administration, and solution architecture. This role requires expertise in managing Gainsight applications, ensuring optimal performance and integration with existing systems. The Gainsight Admin will play a crucial role in enhancing customer success initiatives through effective data management and system optimization.

Duties

  • Administer and maintain the Gainsight platform, ensuring its availability and performance.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to design and implement solutions that enhance customer engagement.
  • Develop and manage integrations between Gainsight and other systems using RESTful APIs.
  • Monitor system performance, troubleshoot issues, and implement load balancing strategies.
  • Conduct regular system audits to ensure compliance with information security policies.
  • Utilize scripting languages such as Python or Bash for automation of routine tasks.
  • Support the development of microservices architecture within the Gainsight ecosystem.
  • Participate in Agile development processes, contributing to sprint planning and retrospectives.
  • Document system configurations, processes, and best practices for future reference.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or a related field.
  • Proven experience in system administration and IT infrastructure management.
  • Strong understanding of service-oriented architecture and solution architecture principles.
  • Familiarity with database management systems such as MySQL, PostgreSQL, Oracle, or Microsoft SQL Server.
  • Experience with virtualization technologies including VMware, ESXi, and Azure.
  • Knowledge of networking concepts including DNS, DHCP, VPNs, firewalls, and computer networking protocols.
  • Proficiency in programming languages such as JavaScript or Python; experience with Java is a plus.
  • Hands-on experience with CI/CD tools like Jenkins and Git for version control.
  • Understanding of Agile methodologies and SDLC processes.
  • Familiarity with container orchestration tools such as Kubernetes is desirable.
  • Strong problem-solving skills with the ability to work independently or as part of a team.
