Job description

Position Summary

The IT Systems Administrator is responsible for ensuring the reliability, security, and performance of the company’s information technology systems and infrastructure. This role supports approximately 20+ users and manages core systems including Windows servers, QuickBooks, and the company’s CRM platform. The ideal candidate will bring a professional, service-oriented approach to system management and user support in a business-critical operations environment.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

Infrastructure & Systems Administration

· Administer, monitor, and maintain Microsoft Windows servers

· Manage Active Directory user accounts, permissions, and group policies

· Perform system updates, patching, and performance monitoring

· Ensure reliable operation of local and cloud-based systems

Business Applications Support

· Provide administration and support for QuickBooks and CRM systems

· Manage application access, updates, and configurations

· Coordinate with software vendors and service providers for troubleshooting, maintenance, and licensing

Security, Compliance & Data Protection

· Enforce security standards and best practices

· Oversee antivirus, system updates, and backup solutions

· Conduct routine backup verification and recovery testing

· Support risk mitigation efforts and system audits

End User Support & IT Operations

· Deliver Tier 1 and Tier 2 support for approximately 50 users

· Provision and maintain workstations, mobile devices, and peripherals

· Ensure timely resolution of hardware and software issues

· Support onboarding and offboarding processes

Documentation & Technology Planning

· Maintain internal documentation, IT procedures, and system diagrams

· Track technology assets and licensing

· Participate in IT strategy development and system improvement initiatives

Job Type: Part-time

Pay: From $50,000.00 per year
