WHAT WE ARE LOOKING FOR:
We are seeking a dynamic and strategic IT Manager / Senior Network Engineer to serve as a technical leader and trusted partner across the organization. This role goes beyond hands-on engineering-it is responsible for leading network operations, guiding technical direction, mentoring team members, and ensuring the stability, security, and scalability of enterprise systems supporting voice, data, and video. The ideal candidate is both a strong technical expert and an influential leader who can drive performance, elevate team capability, and align IT initiatives with business goals.

WHAT WE EXPECT FROM YOU:
- Lead the design, implementation, and support of networked hardware and software for voice, data, and video systems
- Serve as the escalation point for complex network issues, driving timely resolution and root cause analysis
- Proactively assess and optimize network performance to meet evolving organizational needs
- Oversee data backup, recovery, and business continuity processes
- Maintain and continuously improve network documentation and system visibility using management tools
- Manage, mentor, coach, and provide hands-on training to Help Desk and junior IT staff, fostering team growth and development
- Lead the strategy, development, and enforcement of enterprise network security measures
- Comply with all Southern Management's policies and procedures
- Perform various other duties as assigned by the Director
JOB KNOWLEDGE & SKILLS:
- Proven leadership ability with a track record of guiding technical teams and influencing outcomes
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills, with a customer-focused mindset
- Expert understanding of Microsoft server software management and administration
- Proficient with Office 365 Entra migration, management, and administration
- Knowledgeable with the maintenance and support of complex networked systems
- Expert-level experience managing and administering SonicWall firewalls
- Strong experience maintaining hardware in a Hewlett-Packard server environment.
- 10 years' progressive experience with installation and support of voice, data, and video hardware and software within a large complex environment.
- 5 years in a leadership or supervisory capacity, with responsibility for mentoring or guiding team members

Compensation: $100,204.00 - $141,298.00
