Job Overview
We are seeking a skilled and dedicated Network Administrator to join our dynamic IT team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for managing and maintaining our network infrastructure, ensuring optimal performance, security, and reliability. This role requires a strong understanding of networking protocols and technologies, as well as the ability to troubleshoot and resolve issues efficiently.

Responsibilities

• Manage and monitor network performance to ensure high availability and reliability.
• Configure, install, and maintain network devices including routers, switches, and firewalls.
• Implement network security measures to safeguard sensitive data and prevent unauthorized access.
• Troubleshoot network issues using tools such as SSH and command-line interfaces.
• Maintain documentation related to network configurations, policies, and procedures.
• Support VoIP systems and ensure seamless communication across the organization.
• Conduct regular updates and patches on networking equipment to enhance security.

Skills
The successful candidate should possess the following skills:

Familiar with Microsoft Windows Server setup, maintenance and troubleshooting.

Experience with hardware routers, switches, firewalls, backups, VPN and online security.

Setup and Maintenance of office computers, network printers and scanners, software installation, etc.

Setup and Maintenance of remote computers and modems at retail locations within 60 mile radius of Bloomington.

Specific knowledge of SEQUEL programming language to write proprietary database reports a plus.
