Job Overview
We are seeking a talented and experienced Lead Product Designer to join our growing in‑house design team. In this pivotal role, you will collaborate closely with the VP of Innovation and cross‑functional partners (Product, Engineering, and Marketing) to deliver cohesive, user‑centered experiences across web and mobile platforms. You will also champion the thoughtful adoption of AI‑powered tools and workflows that enhance creativity, efficiency, and design quality.
As Lead Designer, you will shape the visual identity and user experience of our brand and products, ensuring we remain at the forefront of innovative design within the gifting industry.
Responsibilities

- Collaborate closely with the VP of Innovation to align design strategy with brand vision, user needs, and business objectives.
- Develop, evolve, and maintain robust design systems and guidelines to ensure consistency and scalability across web and mobile applications.
- Create high‑fidelity mockups, prototypes, and design concepts for new features, ensuring seamless integration into existing products.
- Leverage AI‑powered design and generative tools to accelerate ideation, produce initial layouts, refine designs, and generate content or pattern suggestions.
- Implement and optimize AI workflows—using tools like ChatGPT for design brainstorming, content generation, documentation, and creative prompts; Figma Make to generate and iterate UI components and prototypes with natural language prompts; and similar toolchains to enhance team productivity.
- Partner with Product and Engineering teams to translate business goals and technical requirements into intuitive, user‑centered solutions.
- Oversee design implementation to ensure pixel‑perfect execution and high‑quality user experiences.
- Stay current with industry trends, emerging AI tools and workflows, and competitive insights to continuously introduce fresh, innovative ideas.
Experience
- 7+ years of experience in UI/UX, with at least 3 years in a senior or lead role overseeing a team of designers.
- A strong portfolio demonstrating design leadership, strategic thinking, and user‑centered problem‑solving.
- Experience designing for both web and mobile applications, including responsive design and cross‑platform considerations.
- Proficiency in design tools such as Figma (including Figma Make and AI features), Adobe Creative Suite, or similar.
- Strong understanding of design systems, usability principles, and accessibility standards.
- Proven experience using AI tools like ChatGPT for ideation, prototyping assistance, content generation, and design documentation.
- Clear communicator with experience collaborating across disciplines and articulating design rationale effectively.
- Familiarity with user research, A/B testing, and iterative design methodologies.
- Excellent time‑management, organizational skills, and the ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast‑paced environment.
Preferred Qualifications:
