Job Overview

Duties
- Conduct outside sales activities to identify and acquire new clients, including retail sales and telemarketing efforts
- Develop and maintain relationships with existing clients to ensure ongoing satisfaction and retention
- Negotiate insurance policies and terms that meet client needs while aligning with company guidelines
- Present insurance options clearly and persuasively, explaining coverage details and benefits
- Manage sales administration tasks such as processing applications, policy renewals, and documentation updates
- Analyze client information to recommend suitable insurance products, including health, life, auto, or property insurance
- Collaborate with marketing teams to develop strategies that enhance outreach and brand awareness
- Ensure compliance with industry regulations such as HIPAA and other relevant standards
- Provide exceptional customer service by addressing inquiries, resolving issues, and maintaining positive relationships
- Stay informed about industry trends, product updates, and competitive offerings to effectively serve clients
Skills
- Proven experience in outside sales, retail sales, or telemarketing within the insurance or related industries
- Strong negotiation skills with the ability to close deals effectively
- Excellent communication skills—bilingual or multilingual abilities are a plus—capable of explaining complex information clearly
- Proficiency in sales administration tasks and analysis skills for assessing client needs and market opportunities
- Knowledge of marketing strategies to attract new clients and retain existing ones
- Customer service orientation with a focus on building long-term relationships
- Familiarity with HIPAA regulations and benefits administration is advantageous
- Ability to work independently while collaborating with team members in a fast-paced environment
