At Katie's Way, we're seeking a freelance UX/UI Webmaster who will handle the design, upkeep, and optimization of the company’s web experience across all devices. This hybrid role merges front-end design sensibility with content management, technical maintenance, accessibility compliance, and analytics oversight to ensure a seamless, engaging user experience for patients, providers, and partners.

Key Responsibilities:

• Design and implement intuitive, responsive, and accessible user interfaces (UX/UI) based on healthcare-specific user needs
• Oversight and collaboration with external development teams and vendors.
• Own the CMS (WordPress, Drupal, or other), including page builds, updates, asset swaps, and content formatting
• Manage the website’s visual style, content hierarchy, and mobile usability
• Implement web analytics tools, heatmaps, and user behavior tracking (GA4, Hotjar, etc.)
• Collaborate with content, compliance, and development teams to maintain HIPAA, ADA, and regulatory compliance
• Perform regular maintenance (plugin updates, testing, backups, redirects, and broken link audits)
• Optimize site for speed, SEO, and conversion paths
• Liaise with vendors or developers as needed for more complex backend integrations

Qualified candidates with have a High School Diploma or equivalent, a minimum of 5 years experience in web design, CMS management, or front-end development, plus a strong portfolio demonstrating UX/UI skills, preferably in healthcare, SaaS, or education. Other qualifications include:

• Experience with HTML, CSS, JavaScript, and CMS platforms (WordPress, HubSpot CMS, etc.)
• Familiarity with web accessibility standards, HIPAA compliance, and SEO/ AI SEO best practices
• Comfortable working cross-functionally with creative, legal, and tech teams
