JOB DESCRIPTION
Position: Full Stack Developer
Salary: $100,000 - $140,000
Job Type: Contract-to-hire
Location: Lansing, MI |Onsite

We are seeking a full-time, permanent Full Stack Developer with a strong front-end development and UX/UI design background to help take our applications to the next level, both visually and functionally.

Responsibilities of the Full Stack Developer:

  • Develop and enhance user interfaces for external and internal web applications with a focus on modern, visually appealing, and intuitive design .

  • Build and maintain full-stack solutions (UI, web services, database, backend) using JavaScript frameworks and Java .

  • Implement new features and functionality ( 65% new coding ), modernize existing code ( 15% refactor ), and resolve bugs/maintenance issues ( 15% bug fixes ).

  • Create and optimize SQL queries and stored procedures for efficient data handling.

  • Collaborate with product owners, designers, and backend developers to deliver engaging user experiences.

  • Ensure applications are secure, scalable, and optimized for performance.

  • Participate in agile development practices, CI/CD processes, and version control workflows.


Preferred Experience of the Full Stack Developer:

  • 5+ years of professional software development experience.

  • Strong JavaScript development skills (Vue, Ember, React, or Angular).

  • Experience with Java and SQL Server (queries, stored procedures).

  • Proven ability to design and implement user-friendly UI/UX for web applications.


Bonus Experience of the Full Stack Developer:

  • Cloud platforms (AWS, Azure) and containerization (Docker).

  • CI/CD pipeline development and automation.

  • Experience with Jack Henry systems.

  • Professional UX/UI or graphic design background.
