Infosys is seeking a highly skilled AWS - Cloud Center of Excellence (COE) Expert to lead our cloud initiatives and ensure the efficient and secure operation of our AWS environment. The ideal candidate will have extensive experience with AWS services, including AMI, Landing Zones, Transit Hubs, and other advanced cloud technologies. This role involves developing cloud frameworks, policies, and standards to optimize cloud usage and drive innovation.

Key Responsibilities:

• Cloud Strategy: Define and implement the organization's AWS cloud strategy, aligning with business goals.
• Governance: Develop and enforce cloud governance policies, ensuring compliance and security.
• Optimization: Measure and optimize cloud costs, leveraging tools like AWS Cost Explorer and CloudHealth.
• Innovation: Drive innovation and continuous improvement in cloud usage, staying ahead of market trends.
• AMI Management: Create, manage, and optimize Amazon Machine Images (AMI) for various applications.
• Landing Zones: Design and implement AWS Landing Zones to ensure secure and scalable cloud environments.
• Transit Hubs: Configure and manage AWS Transit Hubs for efficient network connectivity.
• Training: Provide training and support to cloud users, fostering a culture of cloud excellence.
• Collaboration: Work with senior leadership to define a clear vision for cloud adoption and cultural change.
• Documentation: Create and maintain comprehensive documentation for cloud processes and procedures.

Required Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree or foreign equivalent required from an accredited institution. Will also consider three years of progressive experience in the specialty in lieu of every year of education
• Candidate must be located within commuting distance of Richardson, TX or Raleigh, NC, or be willing to relocate to the area. This position may require travel in the US
• At least 7 years of Information Technology experience.
• 7 years' experience in IT cloud architecture and AWS services.
• Proficient in AWS services, cloud governance, and cost optimization.
• Tools: Experience with AWS Cost Explorer, CloudHealth, and other cloud management tools.

Preferred Qualifications:

• Certifications: AWS Certified Solutions Architect, AWS Certified DevOps Engineer, or similar certifications.
• Knowledge: Strong understanding of cloud security, compliance, and best practices, including AMI, Landing Zones, and Transit Hubs.

The job entails sitting as well as working at a computer for extended periods of time. Should be able to communicate by telephone, email or face to face. Travel may be required as per the job requirements.
