We are a boutique technology services company supporting a diverse range of clients. We operate with the agility of an MSP but provide the deep-dive expertise and long-term partnership of an internal IT department. We are looking for a Network & Security Engineer to take the lead on planning, deploying, and managing robust network infrastructures.

From architecting Fortinet-driven SD-WAN solutions to managing VMware clusters, you will be the technical cornerstone of our infrastructure services.

Key Responsibilities

• Network Architecture: Lead the end-to-end planning and deployment of enterprise LAN, WAN, and SD-WAN solutions.
• Security & Perimeter: Design and implement Fortinet firewalls (primary focus), ensuring secure VPN connectivity and threat mitigation.
• Hardware Deployment: Hands-on configuration and installation of switches and Wireless Access Points (APs).
• Systems & Virtualization: Manage and optimize VMware vSphere/ESXi environments and Windows Server infrastructure.
• Storage & Continuity: Oversight of SAN/NAS storage solutions and ensuring overall network performance and data integrity.

Technical Requirements

• Firewalls: Advanced proficiency with Fortinet (FortiGate) is essential.
• Networking: Strong foundation in Cisco networking; experience with VLANs, routing protocols, and switching.
• Virtualization: Hands-on experience with VMware vSphere and ESXi hosts.
• Server Admin: Competency in Windows Server administration (Active Directory, Group Policy, etc.).
• Connectivity: Proven experience building and troubleshooting Site-to-Site VPNs and SD-WAN.

Work Environment & Travel

• Hybrid Flexibility: This is a mostly work-from-home position.
• Local Travel: Must be based in or near Eastern Pennsylvania. Requires the ability to travel 4–8 days per month (locally) to client sites for physical deployments and high-level consulting.

Pay: $84,943.82 - $95,211.91 per year
