DevOps Developer at Abacus Health Solutions
Job Summary: As a DevOps Developer at Abacus Health Solutions, you will be responsible for designing, implementing, and maintaining the infrastructure and tools necessary for continuous integration and continuous delivery (CI/CD) of our healthcare solutions. You will work closely with development, QA, and operations teams to ensure smooth and efficient deployment processes. This role will also require some hands-on development, in addition to DevOps management.
Key Responsibilities:
· Help architect and build core platform cloud-native components.
· Drive the design, implementation, and adoption of Cloud-based deployment platforms.
· Sustain and improve the operations and management/updates of third-party components.
· Support and manage the deployment cadence of Abacus Health Solutions' web, mobile, and data applications.
· Monitor and troubleshoot build issues, providing proactive solutions to prevent deployment failures.
· Identify and evaluate new tools and processes to increase automation, security, and efficiency.
· Work to support our efforts to provide high-availability technical services to our end users by implementing best practices around site reliability engineering principles and techniques.
· Maintain and manage Azure cloud environments, ensuring optimized and secure deployments.
· Explore and implement containerization (Docker, Kubernetes) as the team moves toward adopting modern infrastructure practices.
· Provide guidance on best practices for DevOps, automation, and cloud-based deployments.
· Work closely with all teams in technology on projects of all scopes, including complex and cross-functional efforts.
Desired Qualifications: Candidates should be comfortable with most of the following and willing to learn the others:
· Bachelor's degree in computer science, or a combination of equivalent education and experience.
· 3+ years of experience in Application Development
· Strong understanding of platform engineering
· 1+ years direct DevOps experience.
· Strong experience with Azure management (VMs, Networking, Storage, DevOps services).
· Evaluate emerging technologies and implement AI/ML-driven solutions to enhance operational and security posture.
· Hands-on experience implementing DevOps pipelines and tools for Continuous Delivery / Continuous Integration systems.
· Proficiency in scripting languages.
· Experience with Microsoft Server administration, networking protocols, and DNS.
· Excellent communication skills and a collaborative mindset.
Preferred Qualifications:
· Azure certifications would be a plus.
· Highly self-motivated and directed, with keen attention to detail.
· Able to effectively prioritize tasks in a high energy environment.
· Strong customer service orientation.
· Experience working in a team-oriented, collaborative environment.
· Able to commit to being present for a set schedule in the office each week for this hybrid position
