Job Summary
We are seeking a reliable and motivated Delivery Driver to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for transporting goods to various locations while ensuring timely and safe delivery. This role requires excellent customer service skills and the ability to handle heavy lifting and drive safely. The Delivery Driver will play a crucial role in maintaining our commitment to quality service.

Duties
- Safely operate a box truck to deliver products to customers and businesses.
- Load and unload goods, ensuring proper handling of items to prevent damage.
- Provide exceptional customer service during deliveries, addressing any inquiries or concerns.
- Navigate routes efficiently while adhering to traffic laws and safety regulations.
- Perform routine vehicle inspections and maintenance checks to ensure safe operation.
- Utilize manual transmission when required, demonstrating proficiency in driving techniques.
- Assist in warehouse operations as needed, including organizing inventory and operating a pallet jack.
- Collaborate with team members to ensure smooth logistics and timely deliveries.

Requirements:

• Valid driver's license with a clean driving record.
• Be at least 21 years of age, have a valid driver's license, and a clean driving record.
• Be able to safely lift/carry up to 75 lbs and up to 150lbs with a hand truck
• Pass FedEx Ground criminal background check and drug screen
• Have reliable transportation to and from work - Be on time and ready to work each workday
• Be able to climb stairs
• Be able to work in all types of weather
• Have a positive attitude and integrity

Responsibilities:
- Your vehicle must be operated safely at all times
- Delivery and pickup of packages to businesses and residences. Routes vary in number of pick-ups and deliveries, but expectations are a driver will routinely perform over 100 stops per day
- Perform daily inspections of vehicle including checking fluid levels
- Work both independently and as part of a team
- Consistently deliver entire route in a timely manner
- Strong attention to detail and ability to multitask
- Communicate effectively
- Willingness to learn and follow instructions

Note: Previous experience in a similar role is preferred but not required. Training will be provided.

Pay: From $17.50 per hour
