Azure DevOps / Azure Infrastructure Engineer
Location: Atlanta, GA; Cumming, GA; Raleigh, NC; Sugar Land, TX; (4 days onsite)
Employment Type: Contract (6–12+ months)
Rate: $80-85p/hr.
Overview
Seeking an Azure DevOps / Azure Infrastructure Engineer responsible for building, operating, and maintaining Microsoft Azure environments supporting enterprise applications, data platforms, and AI workloads.
Key Responsibilities
- Deploy, manage, and maintain Azure infrastructure across compute, storage, and networking.
- Manage Azure Networking (VNets, subnets, private endpoints, NSGs) to support secure connectivity.
- Provision and support Azure compute resources including Virtual Machines, App Services, and containers.
- Maintain Azure Storage, resource configurations, and performance optimization.
- Implement Infrastructure-as-Code (IaC) using Terraform, ARM Templates, or Bicep.
- Configure monitoring and alerting via Azure Monitor and Log Analytics.
- Support identity and access integration with Microsoft Entra ID (Azure AD).
- Troubleshoot infrastructure issues and perform root cause analysis.
- Ensure environment scalability, reliability, and cost optimization.
- Partner with security teams to align with enterprise Azure security standards.
