Job Summary
We are seeking an experienced ServiceNow Architect to lead the design, implementation, and optimization of enterprise ServiceNow solutions. This pivotal role involves developing scalable and secure architecture frameworks that enhance IT service management (ITSM) capabilities across diverse organizational environments. The ideal candidate will possess a comprehensive understanding of system architecture, solution design, and integration strategies, ensuring that ServiceNow platforms align with business objectives and technical standards. Your expertise will drive innovation, improve operational efficiency, and support digital transformation initiatives within our organization. Key Responsibilities:
- Design and develop comprehensive ServiceNow architecture solutions that meet complex business requirements
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to define technical specifications and integration strategies for ServiceNow modules
- Lead system architecture planning, including infrastructure design, system administration, and security protocols
- Implement best practices for ServiceNow platform configuration, customization, and automation workflows
- Ensure seamless integration of ServiceNow with other enterprise systems such as Pegasystems, AWS, Azure, and various APIs
- Oversee system performance tuning, load balancing, and capacity planning to optimize platform reliability
- Develop and maintain documentation related to system architecture, configuration standards, and operational procedures
- Lead troubleshooting efforts for complex issues related to system design or integration challenges
- Stay current with emerging technologies such as microservices architectures, containerization (Kubernetes), DevOps practices, and information security standards
- Promote adherence to SDLC (Software Development Life Cycle) methodologies and Agile development practices
Qualifications:
- Proven experience in solution architecture and system design within IT service management environments
- Strong knowledge of ServiceNow platform architecture including modules such as ITSM, ITOM, and Security Operations
- Extensive experience with system administration tasks on Windows, Linux, VMware virtualization platforms, and cloud environments like AWS or Azure
- Proficiency in programming languages such as JavaScript, Python, Bash scripting, and PL/SQL for automation and customization purposes
- Familiarity with databases including MySQL, PostgreSQL, Oracle, Microsoft SQL Server; expertise in SQL/T-SQL queries
- Deep understanding of computer networking concepts including VPNs, firewalls, DNS/DHCP management
- Experience with RESTful APIs, microservices architecture, CI/CD pipelines using Jenkins or Git workflows
- Knowledge of NoSQL databases like Cassandra or MongoDB is advantageous
- Strong grasp of information security principles including RBAC (Role-Based Access Control), firewalls, VPNs
- Background in systems engineering encompassing operating systems (Windows/Linux), system design principles, virtualization technologies (VMware), container orchestration (Kubernetes)
- Familiarity with DevOps tools such as Git repositories and scripting languages for automation purposes
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or related field; advanced certifications in cloud computing or enterprise architecture are preferred
Job Types: Full-time, Permanent
Pay: $170,000.00 - $180,000.00 per year
