Accountability Objectives
The IT Specialist position is to maintain and assist the company with network and overall information technology set up and administration. This highly visible position encompasses a unique opportunity to build the IT infrastructure and lead the company as we grow and build other future manufacturing facilities.
Principal Responsibilities and Authority
1) Troubleshoot hardware and software issues at corporate headquarters.
2) Provide clients with hands-on-support and technical solutions.
3) Knowledge and working experience implementing solutions from
pre-implementation phase through completion.
4) Maintain hardware throughout offices and plant computers.
5) Excellent communication with advanced troubleshooting skills
6) Organization and documentation skills
7) Use Knowledge of EDI and Microsoft Suites
8) Resolve any issues that may arise between customer and TSI.
9) Work closely with other departments within the company to ensure open lines
of communication.
10) Adhere to the business culture and ethics required by the organization.
11) Must be able to work in a multifaceted and fast paced environment.
12) Excellent communication skills and organizational skills
13) Proficiency in Word, Excel and Power Point are required.
14) Test hardware, software upgrades before implementation.
15) Ensure backups are completed and tested.
16) Maintain pop3(email) server and client configurations.
17) Support (Ohio end users) on Toyota Supplier.com website.
18) Work with external vendors when needed.
19) Takumi phone liaison with Night watch Alarms
20) Support Japanese installed version of windows.
21) Wide area network support
22) Web Support /Cyber Security support
23) MS SQL Server Support
24) Support wireless devices.
Relationships
Reports to the PC Manager
Internal contacts: Department managers & associates
External contacts: Customers, vendors and other outside contacts as needed.
Performance Measurements
1) Ability to support users.
2) Ability to support computers (hardware and software)
3) Ensure communication is preserved, is open with all customers, and outside contacts.
4) Must answer all questions to customers in a timely manner.
5) Be flexible and open to other projects as needed.
6) Must have the ability to work effectively with management; capability to
meet deadlines; able to manage multiple projects.
Experience, Education, and Skill Requirements
- High school diploma or GED
- Bachelor’s degree
- Knowledge of Microsoft Network technologies
- Excellent oral and written communication skills
- Proficient in Microsoft business applications (especially Microsoft word and excel)
- Ability to maintain confidential information.
- Knowledge of EDI a plus
- Experience working in a manufacturing setting a plus.

Physical Requirements
See and read a computer screen / printed material with or without vision aid.
Hear and speak to understand speech at normal levels and on the telephone.
Must be able to type and use computer for 8-10 hours per day.
Ability to sit for 8-10 hours per day.
Lift/carry up to 30 lbs.
Working Conditions
Work indoors, in a standard office environment.
Safety glasses, steel toe shoes, and hat are always required while on plant floor.
Exposed to heat (at times) during summer months while on plant floor.
Upper noise levels that require hearing protection on plant floor.
Hourly position
This is a Temp to hire positon-40 hours per week (hours may be less or more depending on the need)

Pay: $65,000.00 - $90,000.00 per year
