Our client is a leading life sciences company that develops and manufactures tools and materials used in the production of biologic drugs. They are looking for a skilled IT Systems Administrator to join their growing team in Middlesex County, MA! This is a great opportunity to contribute to an innovative life science organization!
Summary:
We are seeking a skilled and customer-focused Systems Administrator to support our client’s IT team and serve as an escalation point for Tier 1 help desk tickets (handling ~20–30 per day). The ideal candidate is proactive, dependable, and technically strong, with a passion for solving problems and improving the end-user experience.
Pay rate: $42 - $46/hr.

Key Responsibilities
- Provide Tier 2 support for escalated ServiceNow incidents, ensuring timely resolution and documentation.
- Troubleshoot Windows 10/11 systems, hardware (laptops, desktops, peripherals), and mobile devices.
- Support enterprise wireless networks (Cisco Meraki) and next-gen firewalls (FortiGate), including VPN and basic security troubleshooting.
- Assist with MS Teams Conference Rooms and manufacturing/cleanroom devices as needed.
- Deliver excellent customer service, communicating clearly with technical and non-technical users.
- Identify recurring issues and contribute to knowledge base and process improvements.
Qualifications
- Associate or Bachelor’s degree in IT, Computer Science, System Administration, or equivalent experience.
- 2+ years IT support experience in a corporate or enterprise environment.
- Strong Windows 10/11 troubleshooting and technical diagnosis skills.
- Foundational knowledge of enterprise wireless solutions and next-gen firewalls (Meraki and FortiGate preferred).
- Experience with ITSM platforms (ServiceNow) and strong customer service orientation.
- Excellent communication, documentation, and problem-solving skills; able to prioritize tasks and work independently.
