Concrete Partners LLC - IT Director
Location: Tulsa, OK (on-site)
Reports to: Chief Financial Officer
Overview
We are seeking a hands-on IT Director to lead our information technology function as Concrete Partners continues to grow rapidly and prepare for public company readiness. The IT Director will be responsible for building and managing a scalable IT infrastructure, team, and governance framework that supports operations across multiple locations while meeting public company standards, including SOX IT General Controls (ITGCs). This role requires a balance of strategic leadership, technical expertise, and the ability to collaborate across Finance, Operations, and external auditors.
Responsibilities
- IT Strategy & Leadership: Develop and execute the company’s IT roadmap, ensuring alignment with business goals, scalability for growth, and public-company-level compliance.
- Team Development: Build and lead a high-performing IT team capable of supporting a multi-location, industrial operations environment.
- Systems & Infrastructure: Oversee the implementation, integration, and optimization of enterprise systems (ERP, financial reporting, plant automation, purchasing, logistics, etc.).
- Cybersecurity & Compliance: Establish and enforce robust ITGCs, cybersecurity policies, access controls, and disaster recovery/business continuity plans in line with SOX, COSO, and industry best practices.
- M&A and Integration: Support technology integration and rapid onboarding of acquired businesses, ensuring smooth consolidation into the company’s IT environment.
- Vendor & Budget Management: Manage IT budgets, vendor relationships, contracts, and service delivery.
- Collaboration: Partner with cross-functional teams including Finance, FP&A, Operations, and Safety to ensure technology supports business needs.
- Emerging Technologies: Identify and recommend adoption of new technologies to improve efficiency, scalability, and reporting.
Experience
7–10+ years of progressive IT leadership experience, with at least 3 years in a senior role. Public company or SOX/audit-level experience strongly preferred.
Technical Expertise:
- Strong understanding of ERP systems and system integration.
- Knowledge of networking, cloud infrastructure, server administration, cybersecurity, PLC systems, plant automation, and loadout technologies.
- Experience managing data backup, disaster recovery, endpoint protection, firewalls, and networking infrastructure.
Leadership & Strategy:
- Proven success in building and leading IT teams in high-growth, multi-location environments.
- Ability to align IT initiatives with operational and strategic business priorities.
- Demonstrated ability to manage budgets, vendor contracts, and IT procurement.
Project & Change Management:
- Skilled in system implementations, upgrades, and cross-functional integrations.
- Experience supporting M&A technology integration.
- Ability to modernize legacy systems in phases without disrupting operations.
Compliance & Security:
- Working knowledge of SOX ITGCs, COSO framework, and relevant IT compliance standards (e.g., GDPR, NIST).
- Track record of designing and enforcing IT control frameworks.
Communication & Collaboration:
- Strong communication skills with the ability to engage with C-suite, plant managers, and field personnel.
- Ability to translate technical issues into business terms for non-technical stakeholders.

Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $130,000.00 - $170,000.00 per year
